Our new Stratosphere Evolution Z4 for GPU-Accelerated Computing is powered by Intel's latest 14th Gen Core i7 and Core i9 processors and is equipped with an advanced workstation motherboard designed to support powerful expansion options and best-of-class connectivity.

This advanced workstation model is equipped standard with NVIDIA's #1 fastest consumer graphics card, GeForce RTX 4090 24GB, with air cooling. A liquid-cooled version is optional.

A second GeForce RTX 4090 24GB graphics card is optional. At least one of the RTX 4090 cards must be equipped with liquid cooling, when installed in tandem.

The system may alternatively be configured with the upper range of NVIDIA's latest Ada Generation professional graphics cards, either as a single GPU or as dual GPUs in any combination:

• NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada Generation 20GB pro graphics: 192 tensor cores, 6,144 CUDA cores
• NVIDIA RTX 4500 Ada Generation 24GB pro graphics: 240 tensor cores, 7,680 CUDA cores

The system's fast DDR5 RAM is expandable up to 192GB capacity. Storage expansion options include up to four fast NVMe SSDs and up to eight SATA SSDs or hard drives.

For connectivity, the system offers dual Intel LAN ports (2.5Gb/s, 1Gb/s), plus Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. In addition, the system offers dual Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 Type C ports (40 Gb/s) for external expansion.

Stratosphere Evolution Z4 for GPU-Accelerated Computing goes beyond Stratosphere Pro Z-series by offering a more powerful base platform, offering many advanced features standard and also the ability to support AI and GPU compute applications with up to two powerful graphics cards.

Here are some of the many standard features that go beyond Stratosphere Pro Z-series base specs:

• Workstation-class motherboard with much greater expansion support
• Dual PCI Express 5.0 graphics card slots, supporting the fastest graphics cards required for AI / GPU compute and operating in PCIe 5.0 x8 mode when two GPUs are installed. Benefits for GPU-accelerated computing

In GPU-accelerated computing, one or more graphics cards are repurposed to become coprocessors in the system, able to marshal their thousands of compute cores and hundreds of tensor cores for computing work instead of creating a 3D virtual world (typically for gaming). Led by NVIDIA, GPU computing is driving AI neural networks and machine learning in general. GPUs are so successful at high-performance computing tasks that NVIDIA now makes the great majority of its revenue from data centers.

Stratosphere Evolution Z4 for GPU-Accelerated Computing goes beyond Stratosphere Pro and mainstream desktop PCs by supporting two graphics cards at the high bandwidth required for GPU compute applications. Compared to Stratosphere Pro and similar systems, this system offers 2 to 4 times the typical bandwidth available for a second graphics card, enabling GPU compute applications two GPUs for nearly twice the compute power of a single GPU.

Beyond AI, GPU compute also benefits content creators through applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Lightroom. These applications now depend on GPUs for processing images and video, with particular benefits from the fastest tensor cores found in the latest NVIDIA GPUs. The software offers new AI-powered features such as noise reduction and image scaling, which can take more than a minute to process per image on entry-level graphics cards, or as fast as 10-15 seconds on the fastest GPUs.

Massive internal storage + fast Thunderbolt 4 external storage connectivity

Massive SSD and hard drive expansion options help content creators maintain fast local storage libraries for highest performance. In addition, the system supports external storage arrays at fastest possible performance though dual Thunderbolt 4 ports (40Gb/s) that can connect to external storage arrays at much faster data rates than even 10G LANs support. Thunderbolt 4 operates at up to 40 times the transfer rate as a typical 1Gb/s LAN.

Stratosphere Evolution Z4 for GPU-Accelerated Computing features the full-featured, highly stable ASRock Z790 Taichi Lite motherboard. This full-size ATX motherboard has many outstanding features, including:
